Each design starts as Mellie’s hand-drawn artwork, inspired by nature and quiet moments of peace, then laser-engraved on solid 45 cm basswood.

How to use a Bloom Board

Your Bloom Board comes blank and ready to colour — no setup, no stress! It makes the perfect gift for yourself or a loved one - blank or filled with colour!

Each bundle pack comes with a set of 24 dual ended acrylic paint pens. But you can also use sharpies, POSCA pens, markers, glitter glue etc.

Follow the engraved lines, choose your colours, and make it your own.

Once finished, you can leave it as is or seal it with a light varnish for extra protection.

Display your artwork proudly — on a stand, small easel, or hung on the wall with Command Strips. Voila!

We offer NZ-wide shipping for $10.

Our boards are large (45cm) and made from solid wood, and as a small business we are unable to offer free shipping on these big boards.

Each Bloom Board is carefully bubble-wrapped and well protected for its journey.

Prefer to collect? Pick-up is available in West Auckland by arrangement.

Hi, I’m Mellie — a mum of three, teacher, and NZ artist behind Art with Mellie and Bloom Boards.

I love getting creative, painting my original floral canvases, doing mosaics and exploring the joy and calm that creating brings.

Bloom Boards are my way of sharing that experience with others — a simple, relaxing, and rewarding way to enjoy the benefits of art for yourself.
